Skatt i Nerja is the result of many years of experience and the commitment that comes from living and working both in Spain and abroad. The idea behind the project is simple but important: to offer qualified legal and tax advice to non-residents and foreign residents of Spain, in a language and manner that feels safe and easy to understand.

 

We are behind Skatt i Nerja, My name is Luisa Portillo; I am a lawyer by training, and have worked for over ten years with tax issues in Spain. I have lived and worked in Sweden myself, which has given me both insight into Swedish culture and understanding of the challenges you can face as a foreigner in Spain.

 

I speak four languages – Spanish, Swedish, English and French – and have worked in everything from multinational corporations to small and medium-sized companies. After all these experiences, I have chosen to build my own project, with the aim of providing personal, accessible and professional advice to foreign property owners, investors and residents in Spain.
